Meet Your 2022 Camp Staff
Welcome back to Camp White Meadow 2022! My name is Travis Hubert and I am excited to be the Camp Director this summer! This is my ninth summer at White Meadow, and fourth as Director. In the past, I have been the 5/6 supervisor and a counselor. During the school year, I work at Eisenhower Middle School in Roxbury as a special education teacher in the SUMMIT program. This program assists students with behavioral and/or emotional difficulties that affects their learning. In my free time, I love to travel, hike and swim, but will never be found far from a good book. With the help of Debby and Steve, we have been actively planning an amazing camp season full of fun and adventure! I cannot wait to meet you all soon for another safe and memorable summer here at the Meadow!
Steve Koenigsberg has lived in White Meadow Lake a long time :) He grew up going to Camp WML and is so excited to be part of the team that continues to make it a special part of growing up in such a wonderful community. Steve has three children and loves getting to watch them grow up in the same community that contributed so much to his life. Steve has served on the POA Board for 3 years and has worked in the Mortgage Industry for the last 20 years.
Deborah Linnell has lived in White Meadow Lake since 2006. She and her husband, Charles, have four children and are the founders of Impact Performing Arts Company based here in Rockaway. Deborah first became involved in the WML community when she started attending what was then called Moms and Tots, the weekly morning playgroup in the clubhouse ballroom. Soon enough, she was running the group and becoming an active member of Women’s Club. Deborah also served as the Dance/Acro program coordinator for several years and as Vice-President of Women’s Club before running for a seat on the POA Board of Directors. This is her second year on the Board and as Chair of the Camp Committee. She is extremely grateful for her “A-Team,” including Co-Chair Steve Koenigsberg, POA President Mike Ilardi, and Camp Director Travis Hubert, without whom Camp White Meadow would not be possible!
